MAC Holiday 2014 Heirloom Mix collection

This is my final installment of MAC's colour collection for this holiday 2014. I have already reviewed Heirloom Mix lipsticks, mineralize blushes and cremesheen glasses. This time, it's all about the MAC pressed pigments and Feline Kohl Power Eye Pencil.

MAC Feline Kohl Eye Power Pencil is supposed to be the blackest black liner MAC has ever come up with. I've owned and used MAC Feline several times, but the ones I've had in the past were very soft and the tips broke easily. This time, MAC Feline was not too soft, but still had the really nice, midnight black pigment, and it glided effortlessly.

The pressed pigments are self-explanatory- they're the usual MAC loose pigments that are packaged in pressed form. They are inherently metallic, even when applied dry, and more so when foiled. The swatches above were applied dry, and I think they have the perfect amount of "metallicness" in them.
Noble Descent is a nice metallic pinkish mauve. Nostalgic is my favorite, a metallic champagne. The two darker colors have a sort of duo chrome to them. Enchantment is a metallic midnight blue with flashes of teal. Modern Majesty is a brown with flashes of plum and I see some green too.
If you are not a fan of metallic shadows, these are not for you. As I said, they are inherently metallic, and you cannot find a lot of MAC pigments that are not metallic, if any at all.
If you are into pigments, though, the pressed pigment obviously makes less mess compared to the loose ones, although they are crumbly too, since they are just essentially pressed and not a solid product to begin with.
