Re-Invent

Understanding that most of us shop at the same places, it's quite hard to be as individual as possible. Of course we all have different tastes and body shapes etc but the same skirt is still just that, the same skirt. I'm not one who dwells on buying items no one has, otherwise I wouldn't have a blog providing where I purchase everything or freely tell people where I got what I'm wearing and how much it was. We are all able to make everything our own with that said it is quite fun to change things up a bit when possible.

I got this skirt from Zara last year and if I could I would probably wear it everyday it's so festive, great for brightening up any day(considering it's been raining like crazy here, Thanks to tropical storm Andrea).

I decided to add a crinoline under the skirt to give it a bit more panache. I felt very Carmen Miranda in this outfit...

Thanks so much for stopping by guys! Your continued support is extremely appreciated.

P.S. I will be visiting Uganda for the first time! I'm so excited, I love exploring my continent for all that it has to offer. I will be there for a great cause as well. My good friend Kemiyondo Coutinho has launched an art festival bringing awareness to HIV with a week of fun, prizes and great performances. I am hoping that everyone near and in Kampala will come join us for the festivities. please do your part to LIKE the NuVo Arts Festival page and check it out for more information. I am excited to meet all of you that can make it and of course if you can't be sure to spread the word to anyone who can.

I along with Bold Kampala a unique boutique that houses talented local designers, will be hosting a Fashion Night out with prizes for the best dressed! I can't wait to meet all of you!
