Safari Style

Before I left for South Africa and Mozambique, I went to Lunch at Chaminuka Lodge which is owned by a family friend. We ended up going on a safari tour while we were there.

The Lodge is located about two hours away from the city, so it was a great mini get away.

I absolutely love this suit, I cant wait to wear it separately as well.

My mother insisted that I take a photo with my zebra bag to match the background!

Living in the US it is sometimes hard as an African to explain Africa to those who have never been. Whenever I visit different countries on the continent I try my best to take city life photos in an attempt to not perpetuate the stereotypes people in the west have of Africa. I find it hard sometimes to post pictures of wildlife because it seems as if even now ,that is what people expect. Africa is so much more than that so I hope my Instagram photos help to give an idea of what this magical continent has to offer!

PS. It's almost time for me to go home! As much as I have absolutely enjoyed myself I really miss interacting with you all, I have been constantly moving and sometimes internet is not readily available so I thank you guys so much for your patience! I have one more stop on my trip then its BACK HOME! plus I miss my man so damn much!
