Wonder of The World

My jaw dropped to the ground for a good few minutes when we arrived at this beautiful Underground River at Puerto Princesa Palawan. As the Top Island in the World, and one of the new 7 wonders, I was sooo excited to just be around this majesty! Jeff, Alvin and I went early in the morning and already found huge batches of tourists waiting in line for their turn. Sheridan resort made it so easy for us taking care of the whole process, while we waited, chatted and just snapped photos under the trees. The water was crystal clear and there were so many monkeys everywhere! When we finally got to ride the kayak though, time suddenly moved so much faster. We were led into a pitch black cave with beautiful formations of fruits, holy families and everything else you can think of. It was pretty cool, but also pretty scary if you were ever to wander off there alone! After the tour, we walked around the beach for a few minutes and just stared at the immaculate serentity of the whole place. Palawan, words are simply not enough to tell of your splendor. You are and always have been so beautiful.
