I have always been a huge promoter of Setting Sprays as the final step of any makeup routine. I have previously, and up to a month ago, sworn by the setting spray by Urban Decay. However, that all changed when I was introduced to this little setting spray by L’Oreal Paris. This spray pretty much seals in your look and further bullet proof any shine-free look. It sprays with an ultra-fine mist, which I like more than the Urban Decay one. It does everything that it promises: no melting, fading or touch-ups necessary! Aside from being oil-free, it’s price is half of the Urban Decay one! (SRP $16.99 CAD)

L’Oreal Paris Studio Line #TXT Volume Supersizing Spray
With texturising micro-powders this product creates bouffant back-combed volume from root to tip. I find that because my hair is so fine, spraying it directly on my roots first and then work towards the ends of my hair. Then, as silly as it sounds, I would shake and do a back-flip with my hair and then my hair will have instant volume. I love how fine and easy to control the spray is. It leaves my hair sensationally texturised and volumised, with an irresistible matt finish. My hair doesn’t feel heavy or stiff but it is not easy to brush through.

The only downside of this product is that the volume doesn’t last all day. I would say my hair stayed “big” and “super-sized” for around 4 hours. I naturally have really flat and straight hair, thus, this doesn’t really come as a surprise to me. For those of you born with natural waves or curls, this product might last longer for you.
