Take A Time Out (Daily)

Do you ever feel like you are in a perpetual state of juggling it all? Oh you know the drill: life, work, family the 107 random things on your to-do list? This has been me lately but in the midst of it all I have decided to make a very conscious effort to hit that pause button, reflect, and recharge.

Let me tell you, it makes a difference. Taking 15 minutes each day to savor some calm-time to reflect on the day and plan out the next has made a huge positive impact on both by actual productivity and definitely on my spirits. Good bye stress and overwhelm (I’m going to do my best to keep this going!).

Here’s what it looks like for me:

1. Grab a treat (I recently discovered International Delight’s Chai Tea Latte and am sorta in love)

2. Grab my Day Designer planner (never have I loved a planner this much. Truth).

3. Grab a notebook and a pencil to jot down ideas.

4. I set the alarm on my phone for 15 minutes, then take that time to reflect and plan out the next day.

I tend to do this during that afternoon slump (around 3pm). After my 15 minutes is up, I often refill my cup and head back to my desk to finish out the day.

Chai Tea Lattes are available in Vanilla and Caramel and are delightful served either hot or cold. My favorite is the vanilla, cold. You can sign up to learn more from International Delight.

Do you have a daily time-out ritual? I’d love to hear what works for you! Share in the comments below.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of International Delight. The opinions and text are all mine.
