Dear Mr. Loerke, last week's backpacking trip left you with 22 more mile notches in your Appalachian Trail belt. So proud of you! Dear 9 Weeks of Remodeling, you've grown me in patience more than water on a Chia Pet. {Insert three cries for "uncle" here}. Dear Brave, we spend our mornings together listening to NPR One while you jump in your saucer and roar like a lion. I love this time more than the coffee I pour into my eyeballs at 7am. Dear Timothy James, bonus points for using our guest bathroom as a duck blind while you protect our chicken feed from squirrels as if it were the last piece of bacon on the planet. Over and out.
