Last year my wildest dream happened, my favourite publishers Ryland Peters & Small and Cico asked me if I would like to write a book for them, that is being published here in the UK and also in the US. They are the publishers of Rachel Ashwell of Shabby Chic, stylist Selina Lake, and brands like Farrow & Ball and Cabbages & Roses. You can see why I was beyond excited and couldn't wait to get started...

So I set about my new project, writing my first sewing book. I started off by scribbling ideas down, I wrote reams and reams of notes and then I started pulling colour palettes and mood boards together. All of which I will show you here over the next few weeks...

I spent hours making and adjusting patterns for all the projects, putting the pattern skills that I learned at college to the test - I even designed my own range of fabrics for the books which are available in my Spoonflower store now!

I loved putting my new book together and was delighted to be able to work with the fabulous Sussie Bell again, who did all the beautiful photography .

So today I am sharing with you the book cover and letting you know it's on sale at Amazon and all good book stores from the 12th Feb!
