Christmas Nails Inspiration

It’s Time To Get Your Christmas Nails On!

It’s officially the Christmas season and the rush is on to decorate, buy gifts, visit family, plan gatherings and do your nails. Wait. What? That’s right ladies, it’s time to break out the nail polish and spread a little holiday cheer with a funky and fabulous Christmas Mani! Here are a few tutorials to get you started.

We found this pair of cute little penguins at Elle & Ish and just had to share. She has a ton of fabulous nail art tutorial videos on YouTube and great finance tips on her site.

The gorgeous dark red nails with dotted snowflakes are stunning. If you aren’t into the dark red color you could opt for a pale pink or mint color for a little something different. You can find the tutorial

We are loving these ‘wrapped’ nails made to look like Christmas packages. Plus you can use any color to match the outfit you decide to wear to the family get-together or Christmas party. The tutorial can be found at Daily Nails.

These snowman nails are just adorable – and WAY less complicated than some of the designs we’ve been seeing. With Disney’s Frozen reaching epic popularity this would be a big hit for a young girl’s nail design as well. Check out the video tutorial at Polishpedia.

An ombre background with tree silhouettes and falling snow? What’s not to love about this Christmas nail design? Find the easy to follow tutorial at Kayla Shevonne.

Nothing says Christmas nails like a peppermint mani. Some tutorials vary the size of the stripes, alternating thicker and thinner red lines. If you have short or medium length nails you should probably stick with more evenly spaced lines. Head to the blogspot Beauty Tutorials for directions.

This design is called a reverse waterfall and it starts with all top colors being applied to the tip and streaked toward the cuticle. For those of you who are looking for a more grown up Christmas nail design this would be a fantastic option. Maybe change the white base coat to red and the red streaks to white?
