OSCAR NIGHT SMASH

For the weekend, I'll be serving up one of these delicious cocktails.
Here are a few with an Oscar night theme.
Do you usually serve a signature cocktail when you entertain?

Next, I'll be putting together a few platters of munchies to have before dinner.

I've created a healthy feast for a few health conscious friends.
This is a guilt free zone! .. and I promise there is plenty here that you will enjoy.
I like people to be able to grab small bites and sometimes my presentation takes a walk on the wild side;)

I couldn't resist those beautiful purple tulips.

Exotic vegetable Terra chips ..

and some Truffle Salt Popcorn..

help yourself!

Munch on organic walnuts, cashews and pumpkin seeds.

Use Fruit Nut Crostini for serving up some cheese. Today I'm using goat and sheep milk varieties.

I'm trying Le Pain des fluers quinoa crispbread with hummous spread.

I cannot resist olives and the ones with the pits are always best.

For dessert we can snack on these guilt free Meringue Cookies here .. little bites of heaven that melt in your mouth.

..and then there's jonboy fleur de sel caramels... produced here in Seattle.
read about them here
"...One of the aims of Jonboy Caramels is to use ingredients grown and produced close to home such as raspberry and blackberry juice from local berry farms in our Balsamic Berry Caramels (Summer seasonal) and Pacific Absinthe in our Absinthe with Black Salt Caramels. Those ingredients paired with local cream and butter, organic brown rice syrup (no corn syrup!) and organic cane sugar all come together to make the finest textured and tasting caramels out there." I do believe we can have our cake and eat it too.
What's on your menu this weekend?
