Nkenge Brown

Hidden Blues

Hey beautiful people!

It’s been a while since I posted, but when I do, you know I always have to come back with a bang! For this look, I decided to work with black contrasts in different materials from leather, mohair and wool, to patent and silk. What I love about working with black is that when sported in different textures or materials, you can see that the smallest details make a huge difference.

I got this gorgeous sleeveless jumper from a Diesel sale not too long ago, and I saw it as a great opportunity to get familiar with the brand’s clothing which, from my observation, was very hip, rugged, and unique. The jumper is super soft to the touch and has a beautiful subtle two-tone style that stands out.

Have you ever tried folding thick socks over your booties? Try it! It gives your boots a whole other look.

Thanks Natanyah for taking my photos!
