Moncler Gamme Rouge backstage amazingness...

With Giambattista Valli at the helm of Moncler Gamme Rouge - the house's super high end, almost couture arm, it's really no surprise that what he sent down the fake snow-lined catwalk was so luxurious, so sparkly, so AMAZING.

The show, apparently, was in three parts. First up, models in big fur jackets (a little too much fur for my liking) with huskies as accessories, padding down the catwalk and sniffing out the FROW. Next saw hunky men, zip-wiring onto the catwalk in uber luxury ski-wear, and lastly crystallised jackets, mittens and hats and, erm, men dressed as polar bears.

What Valli does with Gamme Rouge is pure magical. I'm only looking at the catwalk shots and I've been transported into a super glamorous skiing wonderland. Imagine what it's like actually at the show. And again at the actual ski resort with the posh women dressed head-to-toe in this collection.

An eleganza extravaganza, as Rupaul would call it. And a triumph for Moncler. Those mountain and icicle print pieces were EPIC!
