I Left my Heart at the Gulf

Hello again lovelies.
So, here is my 2nd beach post! These photos were all taken on the same day, but 2 different beaches. I traveled to Navarre, Florida for my birthday in early September. There was a bay beach called the Santa Rosa Sound as well as miles of a typical ocean beach with waves flowing in from the Gulf of Mexico. It was neat being able to experience a few different beaches within such a close proximity of each other! The bay was very serene and calm in contrast to the bustling water spilling in from the Gulf.

Bikini Beach
Since Navarre Beach is located on Santa Rosa Island, we got to drive miles down the beach and see so much openness and beauty. It really was such a calm and relaxing beach, & not too over-saturated with tourists or condos. For this day on the beach I opted for a simple mix-match bikini and my gorgeous American Gypsy Vintage kimono. I layered a few simplistic necklaces, ZeroUV sunnies and a floppy hat from Forever 21 to complete my look. Our first day on the beach was a rough one with many unexpected surprises! My awkward sunburn being one of them, for sure... Typical Kentucky girl in Florida.

Needless to say, we cannot wait to go back! Already planning another trip ASAP for next year. I will be beach dreamin' until then...bring on the winter!
