Review: Sutla Flawless Papaya Whitening Soap

What? Sutla Flawless Papaya Soap Super Skin Whitener How Much? 35PHP Where to Buy? Bazaars, Leading Drugstores and Department Stores, Watson's, SM Beauty *hard to find! Rare!

I'm letting you in a not so obvious secret; I get excited when I run out of bath soap to use, or almost run out. It means it's time to buy another whitening soap to try! I rarely stick to one type of soap even if it's one of my favorites because I'm always on the lookout for new brands to try. From cheap products to high-end ones. This time, I'm reviewing Sutla Flawless Papaya Soap Super Skin Whitener with Moisturizer Plus that I bought when our building had a Bazaar December last year. It was sold for 35php per bar or 3 pcs for 100.

PACKAGING

It was enclosed in an envelope like carton, very simple. With the typical orange colored box, the soap was carefully sealed in plastic. It says it's a natural and organic soap with six active ingredients that helps whiten face and body in 12 weeks.

INGREDIENTS

  • Cocos nucifera - What we know as coconut extract, or coconut base, the usual base for soaps that are marked organic. This is very moisturizing
  • Dionized Water
  • Sodium Hydroxide - This is what makes the soap bubble
  • Glycerin - Helps retain moisture in our skin
  • Carica Papaya - Papain that exfoliates and lightens our skin
  • Kojic Dipalmitate - Kojic Acid that helps prevent melanin build up that cause dark skin
  • L-Glutathione
  • Moringa Olifera - Malunggay!
  • Tocopherol - Vitamin E, a moisturizer and preservative
  • Collagen - Anti-aging
  • Placenta Extract
  • Fragrance
Oh my freaking goodness. How can someone makeup a soap like this. It's like jam packed with all the essential nutrients you need for a perfect whitening soap bar and it's just 35php?! How is this even remotely possible?!

REVIEW

The texture of the soap, from the looks of it. It's definitely handmade and organic. It's soft and easily crumbled. It also melts easily with water. Signs of a quality soap. It smells like papaya/bubblegum nothing artificial. John says I smell good after using this in the shower. He rarely compliments about soap fragrances. With regards to lightening, and whitening. It does a significant amount of brightening immediately after usage, and after using this for 2 weeks I saw that my face looks clearer and more maaliwalas. My skin feels soft and it's not harsh. No mahapdi, tingling, or tight sensation anywhere. This is one for the books.
I prefer this over Likas Papaya or other papaya soaps that are highly commercialized already. Their quality is already reduced because of mass marketing.

WILL I REPURCHASE?

Yes. It's so cheap. I'd hoard this next time I see this soap. It's just so hard to find! :(
