Well here we are, it’s Make It Vancouver-eve!
Tomorrow afternoon I will load up my car and head off to the Croatian Cultural Centre for my FIRST time exhibiting at Make It Vancouver. I am as nervous as I was while waiting to find out if I got accepted, but so excited! They gave away the jewelry spots by lottery, so I had the same chance as every other jewelry maker of getting in but it must’ve been my lucky day. I should’ve bought a lottery ticket…hehe.
Anyways, I am super excited. Make It is a great event, held both in Edmonton and Vancouver, that brings together so many wonderfully creative people. If you come out, which I hope you will, you’ll find my booth among fashion, home decor, yummy sweats, art and more!
I will be selling my new necklaces at Make It and here are two shots of pendants I was working on earlier this week; one in the first step after the wood is cut and dried, the other almost at the last step before the chain is added!
I have new photos already for the pieces, but plan to get a large pile of stock images this summer for the winter craft markets. I’ll share those as much as possible over the next few months, don’t worry.
It’s been a crazy busy two weeks of prep for the market. Finishing necklaces, printing photos, labels, hitting the store for supplies! I even tried to bribe K this evening to finish some stamping for me while I’m at one of my part-time jobs. hehe.
