The past weekend was spent on a quick trip to beautiful Norway to attend the wedding of our wonderful friends Mariell & Jostein. I’d heard lots of good things about Norway, and seen enough of our friend’s Instagram pictures to whet our appetites for the breathtaking scenery. And it was breathtaking indeed. We arrived in Førde at 8pm, but the sun wasn’t going to set for a good few hours yet, so we got to take in the sights on our drive from the airport.
Mountains and trees and landscapes that I’m not sure I’ve ever seen the likes of before were there to greet us. And despite the rain, I was itching to walk around and explore.
Of course, I took plenty of photos of the beautiful wedding day itself, but I don’t think I should be the one to share any photos of Mariell and her handsome husband first, so do keep an eye on her blog!
I’m not sure one full day in Norway is quite enough, another place to add to the “I’ll be back” list!
