Thirty-Two Weeks: Eight Months!

I feel like I was just writing about hitting the six month mark and here we are at EIGHT. Whaaaat?

I can't really wrap my head around how much time is left until he comes, and how quickly it's going to pass by. It really still feels like ages away, something that is going to happen someday in the future, maybe we'll have a baby. Even though I know it's happening, and happening relatively soon, it doesn't feel that way much at all.

And yet, he'll be here before we even know it.

I remember learning that Paloma was pregnant again, and Kristy too, and documenting their pregnancies and meeting their newborns and watching them grow. Their kids are all nearly two years old now. I blinked and they are two years old. It's a little nerve-wracking to know that's how it's going to be for us from here on out also, pretty much for the rest of our lives. Exciting, too. But crazy!

Crazy crazy crazy.

WEEKLY STATS

How far along?
32 weeks
Total weight gain: 28 pounds
Stretch marks? None yet
Sleep Habits: It's getting worse. Even with a pregnancy pillow, my hip pain is coming back and I'm getting up more and more frequently throughout the night. The second trimester has been flying by, but these uncomfortable nights are going to make these last two months drag on. I have a feeling it's just going to get worse from here on out.
Best moment(s) this week: I can't even remember the past week.. haha. We did get a sweet gift in the mail from one of James' cousins in Switzerland! And we went out to dinner together last weekend for our First Date of Christmas (I have no idea if we'll make it to 12 this year or not).
Miss anything? Just being comfortable, really. I'm enjoying meals normally, no real food aversions (though I may be scarred from cucumbers for life) and continuing about my life regularly for the most part.
Movement: Yes. This morning he was wiggling around like a mad man. It was crazy! The most I've felt him move at once so far.
Food cravings: This week I was craving cookies, so I made them late at night when I should have been in bed. Otherwise, I'm really not craving much. Ohhh soda. I don't know why or how but I've been craving sodas. I bought some caffeine free pepsi the other day to scratch the itch, but there is SO much sugar in them it's hard for me to feel okay about drinking it.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope :) Feeling good.
Gender: BOY
Labor Signs: Nothing yet. We still have 8 weeks to go! I hope I don't have anything to put in this category for at least another month.
New symptoms this week: The fatigue is starting to come back. Some nights it's all I can do to drive myself home from work and just sink into the couch :) I'm starting to experience some breathlessness also.
Belly Button in or out? Still half and half.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Feeling kind of naive and oblivious about everything that's ahead of us. But since I can't predict it, I'm just looking forward to the good stuff and will deal with everything else as it comes.
Looking forward to: My mom and sister arrive tonight, and my shower is tomorrow! I can't wait to spend time with my family and celebrate little man's impending arrival :)
