Mackerel

What do you make with mackerel? I asked this question a long time ago on fb and twitter and many people sent me recipes, ideas and terrific stories. I only needed three for my story in this weeks Libelle #14, but I received heaps more.

I promised everyone that I would upload all the recipes that made it to the magazine. I illustrated the winner, who smoked her mackerel in her own home made smoker oven. The smaller ones, that I received on twitter are at the end, because I couldn’t resist putting them in the story too. So THANK YOU ALL for being so generous.
