Che Cappello sei?

IT Il cappello, un accessorio versatile, che dona sempre quel tocco glamour e un pò rètro ad ogni outfit sia in inverno ma anche in estate… I primi ad utilizzare un copricapo sono stati gli Egiziani dove il faraone ricopriva la parrucca con un berretto rosso o una tiara bianca; in Mesopotamia erano diffusi turbanti o berretti di pelliccia e in Palestina i sacerdoti ebrei indossavano un cappello conico bianco. Le forme più strane e bizzarre di cappelli le troviamo nell’età minoica dove le donne cretesi inventarono forme diverse di copricapo… Durante il Medioevo le donne li arricchivano di nastrini colorati o fiori intrecciati… E gli uomini? Per loro c’era un grande cappuccio che ricadeva sulle spalle sostituito nel ‘300 da un berretto con un ‘codino’ che poteva cadere sia a destra sia a sinistra a seconda del ceto sociale. Nel ‘700 il cappello diventa gigante perchè le donne indossavano parrucche enormi… Basta pensare alle donne francesi alla Reggia di Versailles, mentre l’800 è caratterizzato da una maggiore sobrietà anche se le donne amavano i cappelli bizzarri! Nel ‘900 c’è la nascita delle bombette mentre a metà del XIX secolo siamo noi Italiani a produrre i cappelli più prestigiosi! Monza era il quartier generale della produzione anche se Borsalino la nota azienda di Alessandria nata nel 1857 crea il famoso cappello ‘Borsalino’ un vero must-have che non può mancare nell’armadio di ogni uomo e donna! E che dire degli inglesi che hanno fatto del cappello il protagonista assoluto di ogni outfit? Pensate alla Regina Elisabetta, a Kate Middleton ed in genere alla popolazione inglese che celebra il cappello ad Ascot! Tra le celebrità come non ricordare Humphrey Bogart con il suo Borsalino? Oppure la mia amata Audrey Hepburn in ‘Sabrina’ con un cappello a tesa larga elegante e sofisticato? E Charlie Chaplin con la sua bombetta? Ha fatto del cappello il suo marchio distintivo! Alcuni cappelli poi rappresentano alcune professioni o personaggi della fantasia… Babbo Natale per esempio! Oppure la paglietta dei Gondolieri di Venezia, il copricapo dei Pirati e… Tanti altri ancora! Pensate solo ai Vigili urbani, agli Studenti che si laureano, agli Sportivi… Che amate o meno questo accessorio, il cappello dona a tutti, basta trovare il modello che più si adatta al vostro viso e al vostro stile! Io l’adoro e lo utilizzo sia in estate, sia in inverno come tocco particolare ad ogni mio outfit!

EN The hat, a versatile accessory that always gives that glamour and bit rètro touch to any outfit, in winter but also in summer time… The first to use an headgear were the Egyptians where the faraon was used to cover the wig with a red hat or a white tiara; in Mesopotamian were widespread turbans or fur hats and in Palestine the jewish minister wore a conic white hat. We find the strangest and bizarre forms of hat in the Minoan period where cretan women invented different forms of headgear… During the Middle ages women used to enrich them by colored ribbons or stranded flowers… What about men? For them there was a big hood that felt on shoulders substituted in 300’s by a hut with a ‘pigtail’ that could fall on the right or left depending from the class.
In the 700′ the hat become enormous because women was used to wear huge wigs… Think about french women at the realm of Versailles, while the 800′ is characterized by sobriety even if women loved bizarre hats! In the 900′ there’s the birth of bowlers hat while in the middle of XIX century Italians produce the most famous hats! Monza was the production headquarter even if Borsalino, the famous company from Alessandria born in 1857 creates the famous ‘Borsalino’ a real must-have that can’t miss into the wardrobe of each man and woman! What should I say about English people that have made of the hat the absolute protagonist of each outfit? Think about the Queen Elizabeth or Kate Middleton and in general to english people that celebrates the hat in Ascot!
About celebrities how I can’t remember Humphrey Bogart with his Borsalino? Or my beloved Audrey Hepburn in the movie ‘Sabrina’ with a big, elegant and sophisticated hat? And Charlie Chaplin with his bowler? He made the hat, his distinctive feature!
Some hats represent then some jobs or fantasy characters… For example Santa Claus! Or the boater of the venician Gondoliers, the Pirates headgear and… Lots of more! Think only to the Policemen, the Students that are getting a degree, the Sportsmen… If you love or not this accessory, the hat is good for everyone, you just need to find the best kind for you and your style! I love it and I used to use it in summer and winter time as particular accessory of all my outfits!

ES El sombrero, un accesorio versátil, que dona siempre aquel toque glamour y un poco rètro a cada outfit, en verano pero también en invierno… Los primeros a utilizar un gorro fueron los Egipcios donde el faraón cubría la peluca con un gorro rojo o una tiara blanca; en Mesopotamia eran comunes los turbantes o gorros de piel y en Palestina los sacerdotes hebreos se ponían un sombrero cónicos blanco. Las formas más extrañas de sombreros la encontramos en la edad minoica donde las mujeres cretenses inventaron formas diferentes de gorro… Durante el Medioevo las mujeres los enriquecían de cintas coloradas o flores trenzados… Y los hombres? Para ellos había una grande capucha que caía sobre los hombros substituido en el ‘300 desde un gorro con una pequeña ‘cola’ que podía caer a la derecha o izquierda a segunda de la clase social.
En el ‘700 el sombrero deviene enorme porque las mujer se ponían pelucas enormes… Hace falta pensar a las mujeres francesas al palacio real de Versailles, mientras el ‘800 es caracterizado desde una mayor sobriedad aunque las mujeres amaban los sombreros bizarro! En el ‘900 hay el nacimiento de los hongos mientras en la mitad del XIX siglo somos nosotros italianos a producir los sombreros más famosos! O el sombrero de paja de los Gondoleros de Venecia, el gorro de los Piratas y… Mucho otros más! Pensáis a los Vigilantes, a los Estudiantes que cogen el diploma, a los Deportivos… Que amáis o no este accesorio, el sombrero está bien a todos, hace falta encontrar el modelo mas adapto a nuestra cara y estilo! Yo lo quiero y lo utilizo en verano y en invierno también come toque particular a cada mi outfit!
