During my study of Chemical Engineering at Leeds University, I found myself going to lectures thinking “this isn’t me” “This isn’t my forte” I left University to find myself doing what i have always dreamt of doing “Fashion Journalism” the ability to see things from every perspective. Be it FOR or AGAINST. London was a big step for me, having moved here i decided to take a gap year in order to gain more experience before going to study fashion journalism. I currently work in one of the most fashionable High street store “All Saints” one with edge, one to hate or love. I also work as an in-house Press intern for Mawi which is giving me the opportunity to experience PR on another level and I am very grateful for the opportunity at hand. I worked as a Fashion PR which gave me tremendous opportunity to do things a year ago I would have only dreamt off. Going to fashion week, picking up samples, writing about creative ideas providing personal shoppers and making sure upcoming designers were getting good press coverage. I get inspiration from both classical and modern designers ranging from Caroline Charles, Chloe, Diane von Furtenberg to avant garde queen like Rei Kawakubo.
