’m Edith Dohmen, a freelance fashion stylist from the Netherlands with a size 16-18 (UK).
I am a real fashionista and I hope I can be an inspiration for many women who struggle with their weight. It is ridiculous that you should lose weight to wear nice clothes. Why are there so few good brands that expand their size chart?
I am always aware of the latest trends and therefore I hope to mean something for the ‘in-between-girls’: the ‘inbetweenies’! The word ‘inbetweenie’ stands for the forgotten group. The inbetweenies fill the gap between straight and plus size fashion. This group is too big for the straight size fashion and too small for the plus size fashion.
Time for change! Acceptance of size 10-16 in the fashion world!
My goal is to accept size 16 next to size 0 to 6.
I think magazines should soon be filled with models of different sizes. We also need more runways with mixed models. Style has absolutely nothing to do with size.
