I’m trans* too. I was simply making a statement about bodies, choices and autonomy. But I will delete the trans* feminist comment in good faith.

1. Flirting with the Doctor =/= worshipping the Doctor. 2. Oswin saved the Doctor before he saved her. 3. Not being able to have children is a legitimate, relationship-destroying issue IRL and a logical extension of the trauma Amy went through on Demon's Run. 4. We do have fierce, queer characters - River, Canton, Vastra, Jenny, and more. 5. as someone who has actually lived in psychiatric hospitals on and off for years, you're really stretching the whole 'asylum' thing to be offensive.

It was not my intention to be offensive and I apologise if it came across like that. I do however stand by my opinions regarding the rest of my post.

About the 'phase' thing: There are A LOT of people who go through a phase of homosexuality during their teens, and then go back to heterosexuality. I'm a bisexual girl, and it pissed me off when people told me I was going through a phase, but I could actually have been. Turns out, I wasn't, but I had many friends who had. So I'm not pissed about that, because it happens a lot, and it's normal, and it's not the worst part of the ep. But that's just my opinion.
