Leslie; 27, and female. I believe in the exchange of wisdom; music, and inspiration. I believe in knowing your heart and needs without it being dictated by someone else. I believe in home made, and self-made versus pretentious and entitled. I believe that moonstones are more precious then diamonds. I admire the game-changers, revolutionaries, innovators, and way-seers with the understanding that we’re all working towards something and criticizing something that is imperfect in your perspective does not mean that it isn’t changing the world.
Speaking of, I believe in things outside of this planet, and the things to be discovered on it: spiritually, and proven through science.
I believe in sometimes needing to be single, so you can figure yourself out. However, I believe in diving into relationships with people without a care on where it goes, too.
I am a feminist, an Arab-American, an Educational Psychology graduate student, a therapist (uncertified), an ex-Ex-Patriot that lived in Asia (and still visits), a belly dancer, a wearer of purple-ish boots, a knitter, and a culture curator of sorts. All I know, really, is that I love so much about this world and what’s in it and I love to share it.
