Hooray for Beach Season

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Memorial Day has come and gone, and that means it is officially beach season!  I created a happy little slimline folio to help celebrate all things beachy.  Then I dressed it up with a lovely  Navy/Ivory/Gold Plaid Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Pink Bakers Twine adds a pop of color to the button flower on this sweet little number.

Boutique Hairbow

Hello and Happy Friday to you all! 

Misty (@Mommyofkidz) here with you today. 

Do you ever see something and just KNOW that you have to create a project centered around it?  Well, that is exactly what happened when I created the bow that I am sharing today. I  was browsing the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop and saw this GORGEOUS blue & lavender 3/8 grosgrain butterfly ribbon and just HAD TO HAVE IT!  I didn't know what I would do with it yet, but it was way too pretty not to buy! 

Even though I did not have a clear image of a project in mind, I am so glad that I decided to get it!

No matter what I had decided to do, I am a complete sucker for the lavender/turquoise combo. Even the jumbled mess of ribbon on my desk looks pretty when it is a mixture of those colors!

Once I decided that I would make a pretty little hair bow with this lovely array of ribbons, I had to narrow it down to which ones I would use! I finally settled on: 

3/8 blue & lavender grosgrain butterfly ribbon 

5/8 Swiss Dots Grosgrain Dark Turquoise

1.5 inch Circus Dots dark Turquoise

White grosgrain with silver edges

5/8 Shimmer Satin Assortment 

(**Only the Purple) 

and a 3/8 blue striped ribbon that has sold out, 

but there are plenty of other similar choices in the shop! 

After selecting my ribbons, the rest is history! 

Just make each component to the hair bow and then stack them up and assemble! Oh, and I decided to elevate this one a little by tossing in a bit of marabou feathers. I think the feathers were a perfect final touch!

And just look at that shimmer on the satin ribbon! 

The photos do not do this hair bow and ribbons justice! I can tell you how pretty these ribbons are all day long, but you have to SEE them to truly understand! Head on over the Really Reasonable Ribbon Shop and start filling your basket...there are quite a few sales so you can stock up! Hello, everyone and welcome by today.  It's Karen here sharing is a FUN card using lots of great products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used a cool sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs and some awesome trims and goodies from Really Reasonable Ribbon to create this quick and fun patriotic card.  I always love what a ribbon treatment does for a card, and we can always count on RRR to have the perfect ribbons, trims and embellishments for every card or project.

This card uses black cardstock layered with white cardstock layered with a cute patterned paper.  I die-cut a small doily from red cardstock and I cut the Bonnie Garby Sentiment square from white cardstock.  I layered everything together and then ran a length of Black & White Bold Gingham Ribbon across my card and used it to tie a pretty bow.  I tucked in lengths of Iridescent White String and some Double Head Stamens.  I also added some stick pins for fun.

The awesome patriotic sentiment can be found in the 4th of July Patriotic Stamp Bundle at Bonnie Garby Designs along with hundreds of other sentiments for every occasion.  I just LOVE Bonnie's designs, fonts, and her great wording choices.  You can find so many great sentiments to help (affordably) increase your sentiment stamps options.  The Gingham Ribbon I used on my card comes in SO many great colors and widths.  I also used lots of Scor-Tape to secure everything in place permanently.
