1. I'm very tired. I think it has an emotional component to it. I've stopped reading about the two wars. I am so pissed off at our government's support for maniacs and the face saving in Washington. Look, we get it. We are in bed with a handful of sickening devils while trying to look innocent of anything they may be doing.
2. I need to go to Ireland or Scotland to visit my relatives there. You know.... a change of Scenery. Maybe I'll stop in at Buckingham Palace and visit the rels...jk
3. I'm slowly making headway through the tons of saved materials for projects to make everything under the sun. Strawberry Moon Studios needs to divest.
That's about it for this last week of May. Ta ta..
Here is a treat for having read this far. Be sure to take as many as you want. I feel cookies help all of us through some of these modern day cases of Angst and folderol.

Article C/o the Union Tribune, and a thank you for DH who is helping me cheer up a little.
I'd like to send up a BIG Thank you all for reading here. Blogging helps keep me going- and out of trouble, mostly - in Instagram and other social media.
This blog, knitting, and reading like a maniac have helped me to keep my sanity in the face of a world that is about to erupt into World War Three.
1. I've been thinking a lot about how lies become the truth, if told often enough over time. Countries do this all the time to avoid having to face the consequences of their "creative narrative" for their origin, and to support their subsequent actions to maintain the myths. They are still lying.
So many people believe these weavers of a certain "origin story" that they can get away with murder down future decades and even centuries. They forget that there is a God who hears all and knows everything done, much of it IN his name.
2. Here is something completely different. A photograph of the surf along the Pacific coast which was made by a family member. I find it comforting and healing for my soul. The Eternal Ocean....

3. I'm struggling with my knitting .. Actually I haven't knit for nearly a year now. I'm hoping to change that by starting another project soon. It will be a pair of Short Fingered Gloves for the chemo-therapy patients in Santa Cruz. I really have to settle down and do something that will help me feel better.
Never mind the silly, artificial sounding voice. The video is just a beautiful story.

This instrument is pronounced “Ood”. I have a quite a few tracks of different performers, and have seen some of a woman who plays an upside Spanish guitar in this style. She’s wonderful but I can no longer find her tapes. DM me please if you have info on her. Use the word “OUD” in the heading, please? 🙏🏼
1. I am so DOWN. 😕
I have self diagnosed and decided that it's the fault of 724 news and horrors show I've been watching in which a country which shall not be named turns into it's own worst enemy.
So, I'm now staring out my Sanatorium Sanctuary windows with a half-arsed grin on my face, willing the birds of my neighborhood to come eat the seeds, all the while trying to not eat ALL the chocolate in my house!
Ohhhh! Are those Chocolate Chip? |
2. There is a ZERO chance that I can personally do a single thing to stop the insane Genocide in Palestine from being perpetrated by..... *They Who Should Most Definitely Know Better* than to Do THIS terrible thing to anyone else!
What the Fracks the MATTER with them??
3. Do you all want kittens and puppies? So do I! I want a cute little kitten or a puppy to hug and play squeaky toys with.....
