Cookie Madness is a collection of recipes I’ve tried over the years. The original goal was a cookie blog, but these days I post recipes for brownies, cakes, pies, ice cream, cupcakes and other sweets. There are also a lot of gluten-free recipes here. The fastest way to find recipes is with the search tool, but you can also browse the Recipe Index. Thanks for visiting!

Trending on Cookie Madness
Check out recipes that readers are loving. I'm not always good at updating this, but here goes. The Chicago Public School Cookies and the Subway Copycats are still favorites, but the Cup4Cup gluten-free cookies are moving up too. Burnt Basque Cheesecake in a loaf pan is still popular, as is using white cake mix for Red Velvet. Cake mix cakes are getting more popular overall, and some people have discovered the Double Fudge Fancifill (that's how it's spelled) cake which is a chocolate sheet with a line of cream cheese filling going through it.

If you want to do more baking, but don't have a lot of people to bake for, here are some small batch recipes to consider.

Father's Day -- Recipes Dads Like
Father's Day recipes are amusing. The idea that dads would prefer meat and potatoes over quiche and cucumber tea sandwiches is so dated. Oh wait, my dad sure would. But he'd love a good cucumber tea sandwich too! It's more difficult to pinpoint exactly which desserts would fall into this category, because it all depends on the dad. So for my Father's Day picks, I've selected recipes that my dad and my husband like, plus one cookie that for some weird reason is always more popular with men than women -- the Nutty Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk Cookies.
