Steps for disabling McAfee firewall:

Close all your running programs

Click on McAfee security from the desktop

McAfee dashboard will open on the screen

Go to PC security

Click on the gear icon

Choose firewall

Now toggle the firewall button to off. Once you disable your firewall, make sure to access only secure websites. Check for SSL encryption. Now access the file which was getting blocked by the firewall. After performing the work, you should enable your firewall.

Steps for enabling McAfee Firewall:

Close the program

Click on McAfee icon

McAfee dashboard will appear

Navigate to PC Security

Go to the gear icon

Now click on Firewall

Toggle the button to On

After enabling your firewall; you should also provide a full system scan. A full system scan of McAfee antivirus will flush out all the malware from your computer.

You can also manage your McAfee firewall setting from the taskbar. Close all the programs on your Windows 10 device. Hover the mouse to the taskbar. Now click on the McAfee icon on the taskbar. Click on change settings from the list. Now click on the Firewall option. Toggle the button to On/Off accordingly. In case if you are still getting errors while accessing the file then you should seek other solutions. Check for the internet connection. A weak internet connection is a potential reason for getting file access failure. If your internet connection is weak then wait until you get a smooth connection.
