Christine Reidhead and Her Inspiring Life
She is indeed an ordinary woman, yet she is very inspiring. She did not want to leave the hunger in Africa, and tried to make a change. She built a non-profit organization named AfrikRising. The focus of this organization is not only to rise against the starving, but also the bad life for African society. The mission is to protect children from malaria and help staving African children better their lives. The idea came from this woman, Christine Reidhead.
As a founder and CEO of AfrikRising, Christine has had a passion for humanitarian work since she was young. However, she is not only focused on humanity, but she also works as the University's Assistant Professor of Business and Program Manager for the Department of Transportation Grant. She is a great and inspiring woman because, in the middle of her busy life and events, she keeps focus on her family. She is also the Business and Education Department Chair and Faculty Vice President.
She not only serves AfrikRising, but she shares her happiness locally in Gallup, New Mexico and Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is on the Board for Habitat for Humanity and Family Promise of Albuquerque helping homeless families get back on their feet. Her service and kindness can be felt all around the world. Her desire is for us to share our happiness with others. We receive joy after we help someone in need. It is her mission in life to serve and help the poor. She wants those who have been blessed with means of a good life, to help those who have been less fortunate. Now, she does not only focus on starving children in Africa, but also in Mexico and other parts of America. Remember, Christine Reidhead will ask you to retake the similar act as her. Who is your target audience, and why?
The target audience would be anyone preparing for a job interview. We can go for a job interview at any stage of our lives. This is very broad and can be useful to anyone who reads it.
Describe your book, “How to Ace a Job Interview: A Simple Guide to Landing Any Interview,” in a few sentences.
It is a guide to help you prepare for a job interview. It describes three different types of interviews and what to expect: face to face interview, video interview and phone interview. It discusses the three stages of the interview process: before, during and after. It also provides common questions that are asked in interviews and common mistakes that are made and how to avoid them.
When writing How to Ace a Job Interview did anything stand out as particularly challenging?
How to make it a quick read so that I can provide a lot of information in a short amount of time. I wanted it to be short, but impactful to the reader.
What inspired you when writing How to Ace a Job Interview?
My college students inspired me to write this book. They come to me with challenges and struggles they need extra help with and that has inspired me to write books or guides to help them along the way.
What do you hope readers will gain from reading your book?
I hope they gain a confidence in themselves. Knowledge brings power and when you know a little more about what you are getting into, the more successful you will be. I hope this book prepares them for success.
