Medical Sauna Reviews – Is Infrared Good for You?

You may have been hearing a lot about these medical saunas lately. The company that started it all is Medical Saunas, www.MedicalSaunas.com They created the original Medical Saunas.

I was certainly curious as to what made them so special. A sauna’s a sauna, right? And yet, companies claim that certain saunas use infrared technology and something called “heat therapy” to achieve beneficial health results. If that was the case, then I definitely wanted to see about getting an in-home sauna. I began looking into various companies and found that Medical Sauna actually had in-depth information on their site. Medical Sauna touts using 3D heat therapy in their models with infrared tech. Hmmm. Intriguing. But I wanted to know more. I’d heard the phrase “infrared technology” thrown around. Why was it different? Was it better than traditional sauna heating as Medical Sauna claimed? Let’s start with the basics. What is infrared technology, really? Traditional saunas work by heating a wood or gas stove. Infrared saunas have a more high-tech approach. The problem that sometimes occurs with traditional saunas is that they’re more effective at heating the room than they are at heating you. But there are other options now that utilize newer technology, namely infrared technology. This system targets your body. You’re specifically the thing receiving the heat. Which is the whole point.

This in itself breaks down into multiple variations as well. The two most productive styles being far and full-spectrum infrared systems. Far infrared waves reach your body’s core. Full-spectrum saunas provide the option of near, mid, and far infrared waves, each targeting different medical benefits. Both models are available from Medical Sauna.

And, as side note, infrared saunas could also save you money, as traditional saunas can run up your gas or electrical bill. Medical Sauna uses something called the Rapid Internal Heating System. That sounds fancy, but I wasn’t sure what it meant, so I did some further reading and research. What this means, is that the saunas can heat up in less than half as much time as it takes other saunas. It affects the body almost instantly. I had more questions though. What in the world is heat therapy? And how can it be 3D? The reason for using heat therapy is pretty simple. It helps ease pain and keep you healthy. It also helps with ailments like arthritis. Using a hot water bottle or heating pad could even be considered heat therapy, but, of course, saunas kick it up a notch, heating your entire body.

Medical Sauna (again, this is a specific brand) has the only model on the market with 3D heat therapy. It’s called 3D because it adds another dimension to a normal sauna’s infrared heating system. In this case, the heat goes beyond your skin, reaching your body’s tissue and cells, detoxifying you from the inside out. Pretty neat.

So, all in all, the science is far from fiction, and it sounds as though these new infrared saunas are here to stay. And thanks to Medical Sauna we can see how them providing further advancement with capabilities like 3D heat therapy. Personally, that’s where I’m taking my business.
