The step-by-step procedure for SBI customers to register or activate SBI Net Banking is given below: First of all, individuals should visit the official internet banking website (https://www.onlinesbi.com/) of SBI. After this, the person has to click on 'New User Registration / Activation'. A pop up on the screen will come up to ensure that the person has not received the Internet banking kit. Now, the person has to click on 'Ok'. After this a new screen will open. Since this is the first time registration, a person has to select 'New User Registration' from the down-down menu and click 'Next'. After the above steps are completed, a new page will appear. Relevant details such as account number, CIF number, branch code, country, registered mobile number, facility required, and captcha code should be filled. Details such as branch code, CIF number and account number can be found on the first page of the passbook. If the person cannot find his branch code, the Code Get Branch Code option can be used. The person has to enter the state and location to know the branch code. Under the 'Facility Required' option, the three options a person has to choose are Views, Limited Transactions and Full Transaction Rights. Once all the above details are entered, the person has to click on 'Submit' above. On completion of the above step, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number which is linked to the bank account. After entering OTP, click 'Confirm'. After this, the person has to click on 'select and submit' option of my ATM card (registration without branch in online branch). After this, the person has to enter the ATM card details and captcha code. After entering all the details click on 'Submit'. After the above steps are completed, a temporary username will appear on the screen. The person must also create a new password. New password details must be entered twice. It is important that the person notes the temporary username. After filling all the details, click on 'Submit'. The person who creates the password must be 8 characters long and must contain a special character, a number, and at least one upper and lower case letter. After this, you will have to log into your net banking services after one hour. After this, the person has to create a username as per their choice. Once the username is created, the person has to accept the terms and conditions and click 'submit'. After this, the person has to create a profile password and a login password. However, both passwords cannot be the same. Once the profile password is created, the person has to choose a secret question from the options provided. Secret question will help the person to create a new password in case of forgetting the password. After this, individuals have to enter their place of birth, country of birth and mobile number registered with SBI. After entering the above details, click on 'Submit' above. Once the details are saved, the person will be able to use OnlineSBI.
