What's Worse: The Porn Star or The Ex?

So I have an interesting question. I suppose you kind of already know where I'm going considering the title, but at least allow me to set the scene. Let us all use as a base assumption that your man will have a stash of pictures and videos somewhere on his computer. What would you be more upset about: various pictures and videos of porn stars or various pics and videos (that didn't include him) of his ex-girlfriend?

I thought of that because of a recent question I received at Loveawake where a woman encountered various pictures and videos of her boyfriend's ex on his computer. So I took a leap and thought about what would be worse. Now my guess is that the vast majority of women would think that pictures and videos of the ex are way worse than a random porn star. I'd also assert that it's the familiarity and access to the ex-girlfriend that makes it worse.

While the pron star may be doing things 200 times worse than whatever the ex is doing in the videos and pictures, there's just something about knowing that your man still maintains some sort of attraction to a woman he no longer loves even though he has you now. Perhaps this is the one time where we place pr0n stars and celebrities on the same page. I know of people who've had conversations within their relationships about celebrity crushes. And they're very candid about them. But it's all fun and games because what are the chances of anybody running into, much less, smanging Jenifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie.

But Ashley from three streets over? Yeah...he could go and get that. But isn't it all just pr0n? Like at the end of the day what if he spends equal amounts of time looking at pictures of pr0n stars of which the ex just so happens to be a part of the stash. I'm assuming that doesn't make it better. I mean the fact that your man is getting his personal rocks off to a stash of women is problematic enough I suppose, but if you know that happens, why would him doing it to his ex be worse?

They're all just women right?

I guess I already know the answer but I'm more curious as to why the ex is so much worse. And what if she lives like in LA and he's in NY and they never communicate so she's really just pictures and solo videos. She really is just another woman.

Here's another cog, what if you found your man's pr0n stash on his computer in his folder entitled "TP-Reports from Work (boooooooring)", and you're okay with it - he's a man, men do pr0n - but then you find out from him randomly that he knows all of the chicks in the pr0n he's watching? Does that change anything? So yeah, what's worse to find, finding pictures and videos of pr0n stars or pictures of his ex on your computer? Why? Does it matter at all? And would it matter if he knew the pr0n stars?? Inquiring minds would like to know and understand.
