What You Need to Know about The Elder Scrolls 6 While Playing Free Slot Games

The Elder Scrolls 6 Update

We know that Elder Scrolls 6 is coming. It took many years to hear about this confirmation, but Bethesda announced in 2018 that yes, a sequel was coming. The bad news is that we all have to wait for many years. For now, we can just play free slot games for fun while waiting for the sequel to Skyrim.

Why? Because the priority of Bethesda is Starfield, not Elder Scrolls. They announced that in 2019. As such, we know that the release date is completely unknown. What we do know is that the new game is being actively worked on, and a new teaser went out as early as 2018.

So, when can we expect it? Bethesda has nothing to say about this. Our guess is that the Elder Scrolls 6 will come out years after the release of Starfield. Since Starfield has no known release date yet, we really cannot make assumptions when the new game comes out. In 2019, Bethesda’s representative Todd Howard told us to be patient.

What Is the Title of Elder Scrolls 6?

We heard through the grapevine that the name is Redfall. This, of course, is based on speculation. Years ago, Bethesda got into a dispute with another company about the name Redfall. It was a trademark dispute between the two companies.

Over time, the dispute was settled, and Bethesda now owns the trademark for that name. Where else will they use that name? While nobody from Bethesda is confirming or denying this, the name itself feels like it fits the Elder Scrolls saga and mythology.

Now, Redfall is not a name that we know of in the mythology of the Elder Scrolls or the land of Tamriel. It has never been mentioned before. Many experts on Reddit claim that Redfall may be a plague.

Their speculation is that there is a particular quest in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim where people were suffering from an affliction. They were vomiting blood, and they developed red skin.

Red skin seems like a clue to Redfall. The plague came from a Daedric prince who holds the key to pestilence. In the same game, a non-playable character said the player must return to a place called High Rock, which suggests that the plague started there.

In the world of Tamriel, there is a place called Daggerfall. Our best guess is that Redfall could either be a place or plague.

What Is the Status of Game Development?

Todd Howards showed the audience a teaser for Starfield in 2018. Starfield is the latest original franchise of the company after 25 years. We are sure that Elder Scrolls 6 is coming after Starfield.

The Bethesda team is fully committed to working on Starfield. What this tells us is that they will only start working on Elder Scrolls years after Starfield becomes a success. While Elder Scrolls 6 is currently in production, the Starfield project takes obvious priority.

Back in 2016, Bethesda said it was not working on Elder Scrolls 6. That was four years after Skyrim was released. They also said in 2017 that the company was working on two major games, and they confirmed that unless the two games are finished, they won’t be working with Elder Scrolls 6. We know that Starfield is one, but what is the other one?

Later on, we found out that this second game is called Fallout76. So, now we are sure that unless Starfield has been released, Bethesda is not going to work on the sequel to Skyrim.

What is with all these hold up? We must understand that Bethesda is a business. The same as bonus casino games development. They are prioritizing other games because they do not want to have 100% dependability on the Elder Scrolls franchise. They also do not want to be known in the industry as the Elder Scrolls guys only.

Also, Todd once said that the technology to create their vision for the Elder Scrolls 6 is not there yet. What this means is that they are planning something big. He released this statement in 2016. It is 2020 now, and we know that PS5 is going out.

Will the new technology in the PS5 be capable of delivering what Bethesda needs? We hope so.
