Publish posts directly on Bloglovin'

A few weeks ago I was invited to Beta test the new publishing feature on Bloglovin' and give my feedback. To my delight this is something I mentioned in a blog post on xomisse.com way back in 2014. It's now officially been released for all Bloglovin' users so wanted to do a quick post about it. This new new feature gives users the ability to publish articles directly on Bloglovin' without needing to own a blog of your own. This could be good for those who want to get started casually, those who want to use Bloglovin' to attract a new audience or those who want to use it to give quick updates. At the moment, it's quite a basic editor similar to what you'd find on Medium. You can add a title, tags and images and share to Facebook or Twitter automatically.

When writing you highlight text and use the popup menu to bold text, italicize text and link text. There's also keyboard shortcuts if that's more your style:

CMD/CTRL B = BOLD/UNBOLD

CMD/CTRL I = italic/un-italicize

CMD/CTRL K = LINK

You can now edit previously published posts and they are working on the ability to save a draft, align text and some other features.

Published posts will show up on your User Profile under "posts" beside "activity" and in the feed of anyone who follows your profile.

These Bloglovin' Posts can get comments, likes & saves, which will show up among your notifications.

You also have a new URL that you can share with your readers - https://www.bloglovin.com/@username

What do you think of this new feature? WIll you be using Bloglovin' posts?
