Car Titles

What is a car title? An auto title, or car title, is basically a legal document establishing true ownership of a vehicle. It's almost like a pure birth certificate for the car. You'll need the title for your car for a number of reasons, like getting financed, car insurance, or selling your car. It serves as proof of car ownership.

What is on a Car Title?

2. Model & Make - Vehicle model year and other information per request

3. Vehicle Inspection Number (VIN) - The VIN is a unique number for your vehicle. It will always remain consistent regardless of the changing of ownership, accidents, repair or maintenance.

4. Title Number - This is an administrative tracking tool that serves internally

5. Weight Class - The higher the weight class, the more annual registration will cost overall yearly

6. Odometer Reading When Issued - This is info that helps verify when the car was sold or bought.

7. Date & Time the Title was Issued - This is meant to track when the car, too, was sold or bought!
