Ninja weapons are the weapons used by the great ninja warriors. There are many weapons associated with the ninja.

In 2020, shuriken, katana sword and kunai are the most popular. These are the real ninja weapons as suggested by many historians.

Yes, there are several other weapons but these are not as popular as these are. Also, historians don’t agree on all of them. Hence, we have to stick around these popular weapons.

Ninja were known for using smart war tactics and weapons that assist them in defeating their enemies pretty easily. Anyways, following are the three most popular ninja weapons and the way they were used in the past and are being used today!

1. Shuriken

Shuriken or ninja star is the most popular ninja weapon in 2020. It looks like a star and there are some deadly edges on it.

The ninja used it as a tactical fighting weapon as they threw it on their enemies. It could cause maiming and slight injuries.

Also, they embedded it in the ground at times to cause injuries on the feet of their enemies stepping on it. It was a weapon for distracting the enemies and gave a tactical advantage to the ninja during wars.

Today, it is recognized as a self defense weapon and a cosplay weapon. It comes handy in a self defense situation. Also, cosplayers love to have this weapon as they can play their ninja roles using it.

2. Katana Sword

A katana sword is the basic ninja weapon. It was their primary fighting weapon during wars. This sword has a long and thick blade.

However, the blade is dead straight and has no curve. Don’t confuse it with a samurai katana sword. This sword is being used for cosplay, decor and is a great collectible for enthusiasts.

3. Kunai

A Kunai or kunai knife is another popular ninja weapon used for several different purposes nowadays. It is a small needle like knife that can cause serious injuries.

It was thrown by the ninja on their enemies for maiming. Today, it is used as a throwing knife to play a popular throwing sport known as knife throwing!
