Classic, preppy style. That’s my heartbeat. I love mixing in trendy pieces and fun accessories to ensembles here and there, but timeless looks are what I always gravitate towards.

Case in point? This gorgeous outdoor outfit from Vineyard Vines! I had the chance to visit their new Dallas store at Northpark Mall a week or two ago, and told the manager I’d like to move right in. You’ll find East coast style influence here and there in Texas, but a whole store dedicated to the timeless look is hard to come by! Needless to say, I felt right at home.

One of the things I loved the most about my visit were seeing so many great, classic layering pieces. A pale pink gingham button down the softest cream half-zip sweater a gorgeous quilted vest = one look I’ll have on repeat all season. But perhaps my favorite piece of all? The hunter green baseball cap. Never. Taking. It. Off.

Oh yes, y’all… ever day should feel this good!

Love from Texas,

Kate

P.S. If you’re in the Dallas area, definitely make the trip to the new Vineyard Vines! It is so. good. Thanks to all the kind staff who made my first trip such fun!
