Tool Shed Rubber Stamp Set Ideas

Hi there! Today we are sharing projects created with the new Tool Shed Rubber Stamp Set! This set has some quirky sentiments and a bunch of different tools, perfect for creating cards for builders, mechanics, tradies, and your household handy person!

Belinda Spencer has re-created the look of a real tool shed by using the Corrugated Background Stamp for the background of her card:

Instructions:
1. Apply the Corrugated Iron Background Stamp twice onto smooth white cardstock using Watering Can Ranger Archival Ink. Lightly swipe Brushed Pewter Tim Holtz Distress Stain over the top. Dry with a heat gun.
2. Crop the two background pieces into panels to fit the card base. Ink around the edges of each piece using Hickory Smoke Tim Holtz Distress Ink. Add some rust in patches using Rusty Hinge Tim Holtz Distress Ink.
3. Add all panels to the card base. Flick with water as well as black and orange mists. Dry with a heat gun. Stamp the square nut from the Tool Shed set in the corners of some pieces using Jet Black Ranger Archival Ink.
4. Swipe the Brushed Pewter Distress Stain over a scrap of smooth white cardstock. Dry with a heat gun. Apply three tool stamps over the top using Jet Black Ranger Archival Ink. Apply the Hickory Smoke and Rusty Hinge inks to the tools as per the iron panels. Cut out the tools.
5. Stamp the handle of the saw again onto kraft cardstock with the Jet Black ink. Cut out the handle and layer on top of the other piece. Ink with the Hickory Smoke ink.
6. Add three Tim Holtz Hitch Fasteners to the card front. Add 3D foam to the back of the tools and hang them from the hitch fasteners.
7. Stamp a quote on kraft cardstock and add to the card with 3D foam.

Instructions:
1. On the stamp set, there's a line of tools in a row. You can cut these out separately, or keep them together as one stamp. I've kept mine together so it's easy to create quick cards as the tools remain lined up perfectly. I can always cut them out later, or mask off the tools separately when stamping if I only need one tool.
2. Stamp the tools and sentiment onto light blue cardstock using Archival Jet Black ink pad. Mount onto black cardstock. Adhere to folded blue card using 3D Foam adhesive.

Instructions:
Stamp Woodgrain Background Stamp using brown ink on white cardstock. Distress edges of woodgrain panel using a paper distresser. Sponge with brown dye ink. Stamp Coffee Stain Eclectic Stamp over woodgrain background using brown ink. Stamp tools using Ranger Watering Can Archival Ink and heat emboss using silver embossing powder. Cut out images and sponge with brown dye ink. Repeat with nuts and bolts images. Layer tools over background. Attach some twine using staples.
