Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palettes

When I went away to Turkey recently with only hand luggage for a week of sun, I was careful to only take multi-functional products that would allow me to pack light. A few days before I went, I received my second Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette which I picked up for a good price from a blog sale, and realised it would be the perfect palette to take away - bronzer, highlighter and blusher all in one, great!
The thing I absolutely lovec about the Flushed palettes is that although the blusher, bronzer and highlighter can be used on their own, the shade they make when swirled together is quite unique and incredibly flattering. The palette is sturdy enough to travel with no problems, and I don't have to worry about fingerprint marks all over the casing which often peeves me with matte packaging. There's also a generously sized mirror inside, making makeup application on the go nice and easy. The only thing that baffles me about the Flushed apalettes is that the three segements are different sizes. I can understand the highligher being smaller, as you often don't need as much, but why is the bronzer so much bigger than the blusher? Surely it would make sense that those two sections be the same size. Anyway, that's a minor detail, so I'll ignore that for the moment! The Flushed palettes started out with the original palette, now known as Naked, and recently extended to incorporate three more shades: Native, Streak, and Strip.
Urban Decay Naked Flushed Streak This has quickly become my favourite cheek product by far, as I love the shade it creates once all three sections are applied together. It is so flattering on tanned skin, and the coral pink seems to suit my sallow, cool-toned skin much more so than brighter 'Barbie' pinks. The bronzer is much paler than the other Flushed palettes (although it doesn't appear so in this photo) and so is much easier to contour with, without leaving me with a muddy face. I have found the highlighters to be fairly consistent in shade across all four palettes, so there's not much to shout about it. The real beauty of Streak really does come with the combination of the three powders, as the result is absolutely gorgeous.

The original Naked Flushed palette has a much deeper shade of bronzer, alongside a rich pink blusher. I have to apply these shades much more sparingly, as they are very pigmented. I tend to use the shades in this palette individually, as swirled together they are nowhere near as impressive as with Streak. That being said, all three of the powders are stunning, and I absolutely cannot fault Urban Decay on the quality of their products. I really don't need anymore blushers or bronzers, but I've got my eye on one of the other Flusher palettes - I must restrain myself!!
