One Fabric Nation- Cali Mod Wrap Up and Giveaway

I have had so much fun working with Cali Mod, the latest group of pretties from Joel Dewberry and Free Spirit Fabrics. In fact, I really want to sew through what I have left, but I need to catch up on a few more projects first. Too many ideas to use up these gorgeous colors! I have a trifecta of garments here to recap, and then stick around for a great giveaway at the end!

This is the Doodle Dot Daisy Skirt from the Blossom’s Garden Party Skirts by Izzy & Ivy Designs. This book is out of print, but there are a few places you can still snag this in paper, like HERE. Look for it to come to PDF at some point in 2017! It’s a great skirt, and that little bubble just adds that WOW without being too fussy of a sew. I used Succulents in Cactus for the main skirt, and Braid in Pink for the waistband. I love that this skirt works great for the end of Summer, with an easy tank, but then we can layer it up when the weather turns colder.

I also used this for some other projects around the interwebs. My project for One Thimble 12 (affiliate link) featured this gorgeous pastel colorway for my version of the Azure Party Dress by Ainslee Fox Patterns. You can see more of this gorgeous frock on my stop on the blog tour.

In contrast, I used the bolder palette of Cali Mod for my Double Scoop Dress by Little Lizard King. You can read more about that pattern over at Pattern Revolution. Suffice it to say, we are set with our pick of party dresses and she will always be in style with this great line of prints!

The finale for this sew very Dewberry post is a GIVEAWAY! I’m going to do this one a bit differently. I have TWO Fat Quarter Bundles for two lucky sewists. I will give away one on the blog, and then the other on Instagram.
