First Impression of Lush Cosmetics (Store Review)

Lately I felt as though I’m the only person out there who hasn’t ventured into a Lush Cosmetics store. So I decided to hop on a bus. I often wondered if the products were too good to be true from the countless reviews, blog posts and haul youtube videos. Happy to say I was proved wrong.
Living in Dublin, my closest Lush store was on Grafton Street in Dublin Town.

The store was mildly busy, bright and colourful with a positive atmosphere. It was lovely to see all the beautifully designed bathbombs piled high into colourful triangles on one side of the medium sized shop. The other side with packed shelves displaying the sleek black Lush tubs. Being a newbie, I was a little lost and had no clue where to start or what to look for.
Thankfully one of the sales assistants noticed my confusion and came to my rescue.
Aoife (staff member) talked me through a couple of facemasks and cleansers, and demonstrated the effects on my hand. She made me feel at ease and welcome with her warm, bubbly personality. With her help , I decided on the Magnaminty Mask €6.95, Herbalism Mask €6.95, Ultrabland cleanser €9.25 and My Boy lollipop lipscrub and balm €5.65. (Review Coming Soon)

I bought more than I intended too but when I saw the prices were much lower than I had anticipated I couldn’t help myself. Given that the products are natural, against animal testing (love this) and recyclable containers I expected to pay more. Furthermore, they’re also running a support campaign for the LGBT community with a Gold glitter, Gay Is Ok soap. It’s great to see a store using their influence for good causes.

With the friendly service, reasonable prices and their campaigns , I will definitively be returning. On the bus trip home, I also noticed on the tubs that if you return five empty tubs you get a free fresh mask, which is another wonderful incentive to return.

For Winter, I can’t wait to stock up and try some of their colourful and glittery bathbombs. Hopefully I can wait that long….probably not!!.
I will be doing a product review of the products mentioned next week. So please stay tuned xxx
Hopefully you enjoyed reading and please let me know what your first experience/impression was like (good or bad).
