VEGAN BEAUTY WITH COLA COSMETICS

When ethical beauty brands got more buzz and popularity, cruelty-free and vegan cosmetics was a natural step up. You can find cruelty-free and vegan cosmetics and makeup brands in Geneva quite easily. I like to go to department stores like Manor which offers Urban Decay (vegan and cruelty-free) and Benefit (not tested on animals). Small health stores that support ecologic and sustainable lifestyle carry small brands such as Alverde (most of its products are vegan).

Cola cosmetics is a nice discovery on the market. An Italian, multifaceted cosmetics brand that is bio, vegan and cruelty-free as well as fragrance, wheat and alcohol-free. It offers treatments for body, face, hair and has a whole line for newborns, babies and moms focused on hypersensitive skin. As Chloe-Sofia suffers from eczema we use shampoo and body wash for skin with atopic tendencies. You can imagine that I am more than curious if Cola Cosmetics’ treatment will work for her.

I got to try the Antioxidant Face Cream which is suitable for all skin types. It contains active antioxidants such as Organic Shea Butter, Panthenol, Bisabolol and Tocopherol. Besides nourishing and moisturizing qualities, it brings radiance to dull and tired skin. The texture is light and feels more like a serum than face cream. I prefer that because my skin is sensitive and gets clogged and irritated very easily. The face cream is fragrance-free but I prefer creams with scents. So if there was one thing that I missed, it was a nice flowery scent that would linger throughout the day.

Cola Cosmetics is available exclusively via WellVille.
