52 Weeks of Ayden: Week #8
Here is my little handsome devil rockin' his new mohawk hair cut. Too bad he hates when I gel it, so it's only been in the mohawk twice!
Pierre has been working a lot lately so we decided to spend Sunday together at Ikea so, I thought it would be a great idea to capture some photos while we there.
Well, as it turns out I learned an important lesson that day, handling a DSLR camera and taking care of a toddler in a large store with lots of people, not that easy... I ended up wearing the mom hat over the photographer hat and only walked away with 2 useable photos. Sigh..
But, I haven't fully admitted defeat yet. I am now more determined than ever to get some good Ikea photos in the near future!
<----Here he is with his new toy car from Ikea watching a youtube video about tractors. The theme of the day was definitely tractors and trucks. For some reason I enjoyed every second of it :)
I've wanted to document his love affair with Buzz Lightyear for months now but every time I would whip out the camera he would stop playing with him. Well I finally (!!) was able to capture some beautiful candid moments of him playing make believe with Buzz. I especially love when he makes him fly!
These moments are so important because who knows what toys will be special to him 6 months to a year from now. It means a lot to be able to capture this oh, so fleeting time in his life. Just ask yourself can you remember your favourite toys at 2 years old?........ #DocumentYourDays
