As the brand’s first digital influencer, Song’s partnership with the brand marks one of the largest between a beauty brand and blogger. The deal itself involves content creation on both Song’s Instagram and blog, to a combined audience total of around 5.4 million on her own platforms alone. Although the term ‘digital influencer’ can be used somewhat loosely, but in its truest definition, the audience is completely influenced by the content being presented by bloggers such as Aimee Song. It’s a step away from the traditional celebrity endorsement, and a further step towards technology and fashion’s ever-burgeoning relationship.
