Mary’s Clamshell Pickle

Mary used her stash of Kaffe Fassett fabrics for her stunning Clamshell Pickle quilt.

Each clamshell is a work of art!

There is a choice of 3 sizes. Mary used the 11 inch shapes.

She sewed the points by hand (lots of continuous stitching!) and added the borders by machine.

.

I would love to see this quilt in person.

There are several articles on the blog about the two methods of fussy cutting with Inklingo.

.

You can see more of Mary’s quilts on the blog too.

.

No templates! Print the shapes on fabric, cut and sew!

There is another article on the blog showing quilts Mary had made with Inklingo up until 2010.

As you can see, Mary is an artist. Printing the shapes on fabric with Inklingo allows her to express her creativity.

She knows her work will be precise and that she will be able to finish in the amount of time she wants to spend making a quilt, even a complex design like this one.

.

Mary’s gorgeous Clamshell Pickle won First Place and a Founder’s Choice Ribbon at the recent quilt show in Sun Prairie Wisconsin.

Congratulations, Mary! Your beautiful quilts are an inspiration to me.
