Facial Mist Mini Reviews- ELF, Tarte, Tony Moly, & More

*Purchased by me

Hello! Today I’m reviewing some facial mists that I have been trying lately. I’m completely out of my favorites: MAC Fix , Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix, and Urban Decay De-Slick. MAC Fix will definitely be repurchased, but for now I’m having some fun with the ones pictured above (plus one more that I forgot to include in the photo!).

Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist– Tony Moly is a Korean brand that is not being carried at Sephora and Ulta. In the past, I purchased my Tony Moly products on eBay, so it’s exciting that they are being carried in mainstream stores now. This is a nice mist and I like how it sprays, as well as how it feels on my skin. Unfortunately, I just can’t get past how this smells. It is very heavily scented like powdery roses. No, thank you.? But how adorable is that spray bottle? I purchased mine from Ulta for $15.

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist– I purchased this mini bottle back in the fall wanting to test out a couple of products from this brand. The bottle is beautiful; very substantial. I like the product, but for me this mist is just too fine. If you don’t want to be drenched in product, you may like this. It is also very expensive to get the full-size product- $48. I will not repurchase.

ELF Aqua Primer Mist– This mist is part of the ELF summer collection. I have to admit the beautiful blue color drew my eye to this product. It contains 1 ounce of product and is $8 (though currently out of stock). I actually really love this mist. It has a neutral scent and I like how it feels on my skin. That said, there is one major con to this mist: the sprayer is terrible! I have to spray this up in the air and let it fall on my face, because it sprays too much product and it is too hard on the skin. Too bad!

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Marine Boosting Mist (not pictured)- I have a tiny bottle of this from a Tarte kit that was $10 at Sephora. I was interested in trying a few things from the new line, especially this mist. While the mist smells lovely (it has a citrus scent) and it sprays just fine, it actually makes my makeup smear off of my skin–this seems strange since one of the claims says it is supposed to be a primer. The full size bottle is $25 for 2.5 oz.

Skyn Iceland Arctic Face Mist– I purchased this in October. It doesn’t look like I have used much of it, mostly because I’ve been rotating with MAC Fix (which I use the most). This is my favorite of the bunch. It is $29 for 3.9 ounces. I would absolutely repurchase this product. It is cooling on my skin, so I often find myself using it in the afternoon to freshen up.

What are your favorite facial mists?
