My Tiny Loft

One of my favorite spaces in my home is my upstairs loft. I love my white painted porch boards and white walls. It’s a tiny yet interesting space because it has a lot of nooks and crannies in only 250 sq. feet. The idea of living in a very small space has always appealed to me. I know a lot of my followers live in New York and London where space is limited. So I decided to see if I could create a full apartment feel in my tiny loft. This was also a perfect solution for keeping my plants indoors and happy for winter.

The loft has a galley space right by the stairs that’s a bit awkward. We decided to put my thrifted African art in there, really elevating the space. This is a nod to one of my favorite films, “Bell, Book & Candle” with Kim Novak and Jimmy Stewart. If you’re bored this weekend, check it out! We added some multi-functional seating and a little bar and now it works as a great second living area.

The main area houses “the formal sitting area”, a workspace, and a bedroom. We separated it from the gallery area with a wall of plants in vintage macramé hangers from Shop Vintage Dallas. The tucked away bookcase area works perfectly as a dressing room. The only thing lacking is a kitchen… I’ll take that on next year.

Xoxo,

Judy
