I don't know about you, but this year has been a hard one. The holidays in particular have been very stressful. So I should be willing to put them behind me and move on, right? But no. I had to do one more card with this set of dies. It's just SO COOL and I have endless ideas!
I wanted to flip this around and use some papers I bought last year but are magically still available, Fancy Pants Wish Season by Kim Watson. This gave the card a whole different look! Lookie:
GOJUS!! I decided instead of a town inside the snowglobe, I was going to have just one house in the mountains. And I decided to put the globe behind snow drifts, giving me an opportunity to use my new MFT Stitched Basic Edges 2.
I love the variation you can get by using the different papers for the houses and the little pieces that go behind the windows.
I used a greeting from Hero Arts Color Layering Christmas Trees, stamping it on some of the paper from the pad, and embossed it using Hero Arts white EP. I then punched it out with a retired SU! punch. I can't believe they retired it because it is so useful. Can't find it anywhere else either. Boo.
A couple of Doodlebug Sprinkles in the corner and stars cut out of brushed silver card stock on the tip of every tree.
Perfect!
