#FFAWDressUp dresses for cold weather

The September in New York didn't feel like fall at all and I just kept buying more and more short skirts and dresses to survive the heat and humidity. Now all of suddenly it's freezing outside and I'm looking towards good old jeans again but who says you can't wear your dress over pants. I am definitely gonna do that (because tights under dress would be a too easy solution)
Some inspiration from JW Anderson spring-summer 2016 show in London. Everything flared and ruffled is quickly growing on me. Not that I own anything like that yet...

I found this amazing David Koma ruffle sleeved black dress from farfetch.com and built a dream cold weather approriate look around it. Went a bit over the top with flares and paired the dress with the flaming red Rosie Assoulin flared trousers because why not.
