Dior is Dangerous!

Over the years of testing out makeup, I think it’s finally time I publicly announce that Dior is BY FAR my favourite high-end makeup brand. I love their blushes, lipsticks, their limited edition collections & today we’re going to talk about some of their face base products.
Beware: falling in love with Dior is dangerous.

Diorskin Nude BB Cream (01)-£30.00
Light-weight face bases are kinda my thing. Unfortunately, BB Creams hardly ever make the cut because for whatever reason they don’t suit me. All of that changed when I tried the Dior BB Cream. It melts into the skin, evens out the complexion and gives the perfect amount of dewy-ness. It’s hydrating, but never looks greasy. However, I do powder my t-zone area just to control a bit of the shine. I honestly can’t think of a single bad thing about this BB Cream.

Diorskin Nude Hydrating Concealer (01)-£21.00
I am a concealer fanatic & when a product is marketed as “hydrating” I’m basically sold. This combines both things I love & it is as great as I expected. I’ve pretty much said goodbye to the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer because it doesn’t seem to last the same way it used to on me. I’ve got issues with blemishes and dry skin, so a hydrating concealer is perfect for that. I wouldn’t say this was a full coverage concealer, but it cancels out any redness I have and covers most blemishes without a problem. If you want something hydrating with a bit more coverage try the NARS Creamy Concealer!

Dior Hydra Life BB Eye Cream (01)-£29.00
After trying out a sample sachet of the BB Eye Cream I was basically sold. When it came in the mail I was so shocked at how tiny it was, but it has the same amount of product as the Hydrating Concealer (10ml). I think the thing about this I love so much is that it melts into the under-eye skin and looks like you have no makeup on. It doesn’t cancel out very dark circles due to its super-light coverage (sometimes I put a bit of my Bobbi Brown Corrector underneath), but it does give you the “I just woke up looking this good” vibe, which appeals to me. Gone were the days of caked on concealer under my eyes. Great for days when you’re not wearing a lot of makeup or you just want a light-weight, almost watery concealer.

As I said, it might be best NOT to try any of these products because a full on addiction will ensue. In fact, the lipstick I’m wearing in the photo above is the Dior Lip Glow Colour Reviver Balm..heh.
