let’s go to: The Atlantic at Byron Bay.

i was super excited when the The Atlantic at Byron Bay invited us to share their latest accommodations at their Australian resort — the Albatross Inn. i’ve been long admiring the hotel’s charming aesthetic on pinterest, and have pinned this gorgeous black exterior to my exteriors board for my own house inspiration (coming up soon — i’m painting my house black with white trim! dramatic, yes?). but i digress — look how great it looks on the albatross! located in byron bay, this boutique hotel is a collection of individually styled guestrooms in original coastal cottages surrounded by palm trees and tropical gardens. The Atlantic at Byron Bay is a boutique hotel smack in the heart of Byron, a surfer’s paradise overlooking a lush rainforest reserve.

There’s a soothing space for everyone at idyllic The Atlantic — and the Albatross hosts a group of private en-suite rooms within a clutch of terraced cabins, each room featuring vintage collectibles telling tales of adventures at sea. You can pull up a bean bag under a palm tree or soak up the sun on one of their decks. Cook up a feast in the open kitchen and dine with strangers or enjoy the privacy of your own room. Cool off in the lap pool, surf or roll out your yoga mat for an afternoon stretch. did i mention you can even stay in your own private airstream? and the walls of The Atlantic are filled with artwork from past artist residencies, workshops and exhibitions that have been hosted there over the years. sounds so dreamy, doesn’t it? let’s go to byron bay!
